Thoroughly research any product advertised on the sites before you decide to download and install it. Watch out for ads on the sites that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). The pages appear to be providing accurate, safe information.

You can also rescue files from any drive using bootable media so WIndows has no say about read only. Then try wiping the drive to reformat in Disk Mgmt: If the problem doesn't exist in another PC then first thing back up your files to a folder on the desktop. See if the problem is present in another PC as it's most often caused by a corrupted User account solved by creating a new Admin User account to move into and replace it.
